Sponsorships and Fundraising

The Sound of Pride is funded entirely by Fair Share dues, sponsorships by generous companies, corporate advertising in performance programs and a multitude of fundraising efforts by our students and families.  Here are some examples of the activities that the SOP students and parents participate in:

The SOP operates the CONCESSION STAND during football season. A dozen parent volunteers are necessary for each varsity home game as a variety of food items and beverages are offered to our eager fans.

Every holiday season, the SOP operates a CHRISTMAS TREE STAND. Parents are on hand to supervise as students help members of our community choose trees, wreaths and centerpieces to decorate their homes for the holidays.

The ANNUAL Luck Be a Lady night is an evening for Vegas-style games and great prizes. A committee forms early in the school year to lay the ground work for this enjoyable and lucrative fundraiser.

MARY’S BARBECUE is another annual event in which we come together to enjoy each other’s company and feast on a variety of delicious food lovingly prepared and served by…. US! Mary Edinger, a former band parent still active in our organization, spearheaded this event more than 20 years ago!

An annual MATTRESS SALE is great way for the community to support the program by buying brand new, name brand mattresses at lower prices than the big-box stores.

CANDY AND GOURMET PRETZEL SALES enable us to realize a 40 percent profit for each box our students sell - easy money!

CAR WASHES take place throughout the year; a quick and easy way to raise funds and have fun.

We participate in the Cooper City community wide GARAGE SALE held each spring.

The Cooper City High School Band Parent Association is a 501(c)(3) organization that humbly accepts donations - either public or anonymous - please consider donating today by clicking the link below.  A receipt will be issued upon your request for your tax planning purposes.
